The timeline depends on your individual project. But, all of our projects begin with a discovery phase where we learn about all of your needs and objectives. Once we understand that, we'll put together a detailed budget and scope of work which will include an estimated timeline. Keep in mind that there is no cost to get to this point. All time spent learning about your project and creating your project plan is ALWAYS FREE.
Once the timeline is established, we'll work closely with you to ensure scope creep is kept to a minimum. And even if scope does need to change, we'll be up front about how it will affect the budget and timeline.

When the project starts, you'll be assigned a Client Liaison. This Client Liaison will be your primary point of contact throughout your entire relationship with us. You'll likely have contact with our design team, development team, and others along the way, but your Client Liaison is your primary point of contact.
In addition, when a project kicks off, an online Project Board is created where you can track all of the progress on each item along with hours associated. This ensures you're never in the dark about what's happening, what's next, and how much time is left in each section.

In addition, all of our websites are built on platforms that allow for easy customization and updates over time. That means when it comes time to make some subtle changes to your site, you're not paying and arm and a leg for simple changes. Just a few clicks (that either you or we can make for you) will keep your site updated.

We understand that you don't want to invest in a site that nobody will find. And for that reason, SEO is a huge component in everything we do. We understand the science behind SEO and what search engines want to see so they can find and display your site.
SEO is deeply ingrained into a website. It's not just about keywords (although that is part of it) but the URL structures, the menu structures, the way pages are linked, and so much more all contribute to high SEO scores. We understand all of the components and incorporate this into the overall project plan.

Websites do require some maintenance. The maintenance needs involved depend on your specific site.
As part of your initial project plan, we'll let you know what to expect in terms of maintenance after the site launches. We'll also let you know about maintenance plans we offer to make sure things continue to run smoothly. But by no means are you required to use our maintenance plans. All sites are built to make maintenance as minimal and as easy as possible. If it's something you want to handle internally, that's absolutely fine. But if you want to "set it and forget it", we can handle everything for you.
